Lucha Rodríguez is a Venezuelan artist who lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia. Rodríguez's Knife Drawings consist of manipulated paper and watercolor compositions. In each Knife Drawing, there are about 10,000 individual superficial cuts. Each cut is meticulously intended to redirect light across the surface of the paper creating subtle shadow areas that react to the lighting conditions of the space in which they are exhibited.
